About Us

Dorsia is at the forefront of hospitality-tech innovation, redefining how the world gains access to the most in-demand restaurants, events, and experiences. By fusing cutting-edge technology with the art of luxury hospitality, we empower our members to secure impossible-to-get reservations while providing operators with unprecedented levels of control, visibility, and revenue optimization.

As a fast-growing startup backed by over $50M from top-tier investors including Index Ventures, along with strategic industry partners such as Major Food Group (Carbone, Torrisi, etc.), Groot Hospitality (Casadonna, Papi Steak, etc.), and Gracious Hospitality (COTE, Coqodaq, etc.), we are rapidly expanding our footprint and reshaping the global hospitality landscape with proven expertise. We’re adding exceptional talent to drive our next phase of growth, and that’s where you come in.

About the Role

Dorsia is seeking a design-forward, prototype-minded Design Intern to support product and brand design initiatives across mobile, web, and marketing surfaces during Summer 2026. This role sits at the intersection of visual craft and product thinking — contributing to live features, interaction experiments, and design systems that shape how members and partners experience Dorsia.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who moves quickly from concept to working prototype, has strong visual fundamentals, and is genuinely excited about the overlap between premium brand execution and product innovation.

What You’ll Do

Product & Interaction Design

  • Contribute to product design across mobile and web surfaces, supporting feature launches and UX improvements that affect the core member experience
  • Rapidly prototype new features and flows in Figma, Framer, or lightweight front-end tools (React/HTML/CSS) to surface testable concepts quickly
  • Build interactive demos and “vibe coding” experiments for internal review and early user feedback
  • Create high-fidelity UI mockups and micro-interaction concepts that reflect Dorsia’s premium positioning

Design System & Visual Identity

  • Assist in evolving and maintaining Dorsia’s design system — components, tokens, and motion principles
  • Ensure visual consistency across product and brand touchpoints, applying Dorsia’s identity with taste and precision
  • Conduct competitive research and synthesize insights into fast design iterations

Brand & Marketing Design

  • Develop marketing and launch assets across social, email, landing pages, and campaign visuals
  • Support design execution for member communications, editorial content, and partner-facing materials
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Editorial to deliver production-ready assets on tight timelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering on design handoffs and implementation — ensuring what gets built matches what was designed
  • Support rapid experimentation cycles to validate UX hypotheses across the product

The Winning Recipe

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (rising junior/senior preferred)
  • Strong visual design fundamentals — typography, spacing, hierarchy, color systems — with a portfolio that demonstrates range across product and/or brand contexts
  • Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
  • Comfort with interactive tooling — basic HTML/CSS/React is a meaningful plus; familiarity with Framer or similar prototyping environments is welcome
  • Genuine interest in vibe coding and building scrappy live prototypes to test ideas quickly
  • Solid understanding of UX principles and mobile-first product thinking
  • Strong taste level aligned with premium and luxury brands — you know the difference between clean and cold, elevated and unapproachable
  • Ability to move from concept to prototype to iteration without losing quality along the way
  • Passion for hospitality, luxury consumer experience, and the digital products that power them

Nice to Have

  • Portfolio with product design, interaction design, or brand work demonstrating visual discipline and range
  • Experience building or contributing to a design system
  • Familiarity with motion design or micro-interaction principles
  • Exposure to design research, usability testing, or UX writing

Workplace Philosophy at Dorsia

At Dorsia, we believe that culture eats strategy. The best ideas in the world mean nothing without the right people around the table and the right chemistry between them. We are, unapologetically, a people-first organization.

In-Person Matters
We’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the most discerning audience in the world. That doesn’t happen over Zoom. It happens through collisions: a spark across a desk, a kitchen-side conversation that unlocks a partnership, the energy of ideas felt, not typed. That’s why in-office culture is non-negotiable at Dorsia.

Who We Hire
We don’t subscribe to check-the-box hiring. We hire for merit and mindset, which naturally creates a team with varied backgrounds. What unites us isn’t demographics, it’s a shared vision: to build the social operating system for the cultural vanguard.

Lifestyle Hours
We’re not a 9-to-5 company. Our lifestyle mirrors our members. Early flights, after-work events, and late-night sprints when the work demands it. But we love what we do, and we definitely love a good party.

High Performance Culture
Working at Dorsia isn’t for everyone—and that’s the point. Our culture is designed for builders, not passengers. We move fast, set ambitious standards, and expect people to rise to them. If you have the talent and the drive, this will be a ride to remember.

A Final Word
We’re building something special. It will take long hours and relentless effort. It’s not for everyone. For those with the metabolism, you’ll create something that changes how culture is lived. And that’s the kind of work worth your life’s energy.
