About the role

The Opportunity
As our Founding Product Designer, you’ll partner directly with our founder Jonas to shape the product culture at Kuro. You’ll design how construction professionals interact with data-rich workflows – collaborating with AI to work 30× faster and more intelligently across the millions of documents they handle throughout a project’s lifecycle.
We’re looking for someone eager to define new UX patterns for the AI era – making the collaboration between humans and machines in document-heavy workflows intuitive, delightful, and deeply trusted.
As our Founding Product Designer, you will:

Own the end-to-end user experience: From complex data workflows to elegant, visual interfaces that make automation explainable and empowering.

Design for trust: translate AI-driven logic into clarity, transparency, and user confidence.

Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to shape what the product is, not just how it looks.

Build our design foundations: from component library and visual identity to UX principles for a scalable, enterprise-grade product.

Prototype and test rapidly, using customer feedback to iterate toward 10× usability improvements.
Past Design Challenges
If you had joined us three months ago, you would have:

Created a UX system that balances automation and human review.

Discovering customer taxonomy and translating it into core building blocks of our product.

Designed a module for automatically detecting document versioning and reviewing changes or contradictions.

Redesigned our global search experience enabling users to search, save, and share insights from projects spanning 10,000+ pages.

Designed our Project & Risk Analysis module, helping customers derive building definitions across 200 categories in minutes instead of five days.

Developed our Interior Estimation module automating complex cost breakdowns and enriching results back into detailed 3D models.
