Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of UX/UI design experience for consumer-facing software across various platforms (web, desktop, mobile).

Preferred qualifications:

Architect Agentic Experiences: Lead the UX strategy and interaction design for Gemini’s Connected Apps, defining how users delegate life tasks so they can focus on what matters most.

Design for Personal Context: Create unparalleled, low-friction experiences that weave together user information across Google products and third-party services, while designing granular, easy-to-understand controls to maintain user trust.

User Obsession: Deeply understand what users think, feel, and want, using that empathy to obsess over every pixel, obliterate latency, and ensure users feel efficient, capable, and delighted.

Design for Probabilistic Systems: Apply deep systems thinking to create interfaces that gracefully handle the non-deterministic nature of AI, ensuring user trust, transparency, and control.

Modern AI Workflows: Utilize modern motion and prototyping tools alongside Vibe Coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Antigravity) to rapidly build, test, and iterate on complex interactive experiences.
