We are seeking a multi-skilled Product Designer II with a mastery of visual design, experience design, and storytelling. This designer should actively use and be willing to explore frontier AI tools and methodologies, embracing innovative approaches to solving problems and creating real impact.
We’re looking for a designer who’s driven by empathy for customers, and the desire to see a project through from rough ideas to launch. The right candidate works independently and is a passionate collaborator with other design teams, engineering teams and marketing groups.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end design execution for moderately complex product areas, from problem definition through high-fidelity design, prototyping, and delivery, with minimal oversight.
Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape solutions that are feasible, coherent, and aligned with product strategy, maintaining a high bar for craft across disciplines.
Leverage frontier AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, content generation etc.) to improve the speed, quality, and impact of design outcomes.
Translate qualitative and quantitative research insights into actionable design improvements, iterating based on user feedback, experimentation, and product metrics.
Create and test prototypes (low- to high-fidelity) to validate concepts, de-risk decisions, and clearly communicate intent to partners and stakeholders.
Craft compelling design narratives that clearly articulate the WHAT, WHY, and HOW, connecting design decisions to user needs and business outcomes.
Contribute positively to team culture, participating in critiques, team rituals, and collaborative work while demonstrating openness to learning and growth.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design.
OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Portfolio demonstrating solid design fundamentals, including well-crafted UI, clear layouts, basic systems thinking, and the ability to explain design decisions and tradeoffs
Proficiency with modern design, prototyping, and AI-powered creation tools, including Figma, prototyping/vibe-coding platforms, and frontier AI technologies to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, accessibility reviews, and experimentation.
Solid foundation in interaction design and UX principles, including usability, accessibility, and inclusive design best practices.
Solid communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present work clearly and receive feedback constructively.

Product Design IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 – $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 – $219,200 per year.
