Original Job Description
About the Role
This is a full-cycle recruiting role at a small, high-caliber AI/ML infrastructure startup where every hire directly shapes the company’s trajectory. You will work closely with founders and researchers to bring in exceptional engineers and go-to-market leaders, and you will own the recruiting function end-to-end in a tight-knit, in-person environment.
What You’ll Do
Own end-to-end recruiting across technical (engineering, product) and GTM roles simultaneously.
Build and optimize recruiting operations and tooling, automating workflows wherever possible.
Partner with founders and team leads to define role requirements, evaluation criteria, and interview processes.
Develop a strong understanding of a technical AI/ML product to pitch candidates credibly and compellingly.
Source top candidates through high-signal and unconventional channels beyond standard job boards.
Screen candidates for both technical competence and product intuition, using portfolios and projects alongside resumes.
Support new hire onboarding and ramp-up.
Help define and run performance review processes, leveling frameworks, and feedback systems.
What We’re Looking For
3 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience covering technical (engineering, product) and GTM roles.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts well enough to engage credibly with engineering and product candidates.
Hands-on experience at an early-stage startup, with the independence and adaptability that requires.
Experience building and optimizing recruiting ops, including workflow automation.
Strong instincts for talent quality and a track record of creative sourcing strategies.
Comfort evaluating candidates via portfolios and projects, not just resumes, including non-traditional profiles.
Familiarity with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Juicebox, or Clay.
Experience using AI or vibe coding approaches to automate recruiting workflows.
Exposure to or ownership of people ops and HR functions such as onboarding, performance reviews, and leveling.
