Original Job Description

Overview

Application development is undergoing a fundamental shift. AI‑native creation tools and coding agents are radically lowering the barrier to building apps, but enterprises still struggle to move from “cool demos” to business‑critical applications that can scale.

Microsoft Power Platform is uniquely positioned to define this next era of apps: where agents and apps are built together, where creation spans citizen makers and professional developers, and where every app runs inside a production‑grade enterprise harness with security, governance, lifecycle management, and deep integration into Microsoft 365.

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager , Agentic Apps, to help land this transformation. This is a hybrid role for someone who is deeply technical and creatively fluent, equally comfortable building and demoing apps with low‑code tools and coding agents, shaping product truth with engineering, and telling a compelling story to developers, analysts, and industry influencers.

In this role, you will define how Microsoft shows up in the fast‑moving “app + agent” space, translating product capabilities across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Agent and App Framework, and developer tools into a clear, differentiated narrative. You will be hands‑on: building narratives, demos, creating reference architectures, engaging analysts, and credibly showing how enterprises move from vibe coding to real‑world deployment.

This role sits at the intersection of product, developer marketing, and category creation, and is critical to establishing Microsoft as the platform for the future of AI‑powered applications.

Responsibilities

Define and land Microsoft’s application development story, articulating how apps, agents, and workflows are built, deployed, governed, and experienced together across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent 365 tools.

Build and demo real apps that showcase end‑to‑end scenarios, from AI‑assisted creation and coding agents to managed environments, security, governance, and enterprise deployment. This is a hands‑on role, not slide‑only marketing.

Market to both citizen developers and pro developers, creating differentiated messaging and assets that meet each audience where they are, while showing how they converge on the same enterprise‑grade runtime and control plane.

Create high‑impact marketing assets including customer pitch decks, demos, reference architectures, sample apps, and analyst‑briefing content that make complex concepts tangible and defensible.

Lead analyst‑facing storytelling for the future of apps, owning briefings, demo narratives, and supporting materials that position Microsoft as the long‑term platform for agentic applications and AI‑native development.

Partner deeply with engineering and design to shape roadmap readiness, influence prioritization through market and analyst insight, and ensure launches are grounded in real customer value, not just features.

In This Role, You Will:

Understand technical concepts and speak credibly to a developer audience.

Get deep quickly on new technical capabilities in a constantly evolve space.

Make sense of an ambiguous environment and effectively prioritize your work.

Set direction, create alignment, and drive execution through others without direct authority.

Demonstrate proven project management and v-team leadership experience.

Embody our culture and values.
